Quite decent copy of the scarce debut set by this late '60s L.A. street fixture. Due to some hassles with the label's owners, word is that it will never see CD reissue either. Which is a shame, 'cause it's a fantastic documentary slab of the underside of the Sunset Strip, as beautiful as the GTO's album. Fischer would sell original songs for a dime on the street in front of the Whisky A Go Go, when Zappa ran into him. He guested at times with the Mothers in concert, and was recorded on the street and in the studio singing his own songs, telling his own story and generally hamming it up in the weirdest way imaginable. A massively fucked audio experience. Personnel: Wild Man Fischer + (guests): Frank Zappa, Art Tripp, The Bizarre Percussion Ensemble, Kim Fowley, Rodney Bigenheimer, GTOs Catalogue Number: 2SSX-6332 Grading Notes: gfc, scw, srw, bent corner, some interior stains, still a presentable & very listenable copy of a great record. w/ original label inner sleeves
