Book Condition Grades:

new: just that...new. any defects from storage or shipping to us from the publisher
will be noted.

as new: previously owned, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it

near fine (nf): very close to new, only a few small signs of wear which'll be
noted in the grading description

-else fine: means besides the noted defect, it's in great shape
(e.g.: small tear on cover, else fine)

very good (vg): still in collectible condition, with some wear/defects. vg+
is in slightly better condition than vg, vg- is slightly worse.

good (g): sub-collector status book with very noticeable defects.

fair & poor: sub-sub-collector. still should be complete unless otherwise
noted.
